i just watched the vid again, and saw the glimpse of yellow right after he throws Crane and turns from the first time when it's the closer part with him in the Demon Mask. maybe it's the belt maybe its not

When he walks away there is a clear full body shot and the belt is the regular belt.


No doubt.

honestly just because the suit they used isn't fully demon doesn't mean that Crane wouldn't see his whole body as a demon, or that the figure should be only the waist up just because of it.

It's movie magic.

I don't know i'm still iffy about it. In one scene he is in makeup and then we jump to the regular suit, signifying another scene. Therefore, I have officially lost it. Damn you Nolan, for making my little head hurt in the morning.

It does not show a normal belt, it cuts to the normal suit before we get a chance to see it.

I'm always up for movieverse accuracy instead of movie prop accuracy myself. However, without any source material on what the whole Demon Bats body would look like, maybe HT didn't want to risk it, which such a crying shame. Either that or it wold be licensing issues again.

This is an easy pass. Demon Batman was on screen for all of five-seconds and didn't even merit a full body shot ... and Scarecrow was a bit of a lackluster villain (well-acted, but not terribly memorable -- and not even the primary villain in that movie). There's no Crane headsculpt. No toxin wrist-dispensers. No accessories. The Demon headsculpt looks like a sloppy handmade custom.

Anything with an updated Bale headsculpt would've been better.

What other figures from HT have you seen that have been marketed with a masked sculpt with no additional actor likeness sculpt, only for them to add one before release?


Sure, HT do listen to the consumer and changeup stuff. i.e: tweak a sculpt, add an extra item, (black tee for the T800 for example), but not an entirely separate new licensed likeness sculpt.

I didnt say that did I.

I was referring to the change to the connor sculpt and like you said the extra t-shirt with the t-800, the falcon with the falconor and other tweaks

Theres no saying they may not include somthing like that but then i guess you know better.

has there actually been a case where they havn't included a extra HS for a masked character apart from this?

i know the predators falconer didn't come with a removable mask but the reason for that was due to it not being removed in the film itself, whereas there is no excuse for this coming without an extra HS apart from it being an exclusive or hot toys just cheaped out and didn't bother just to save money on licensing rights.
