She looks great here

In fact she looks nice in most of those pics although the hair is still bad. :( In some of those pics it looks alright but in others it just looks way too frizzy and all over the place which is exactly what I'm afraid of here. Then again, the same is true about TWS Nat and the hair on mine looks great so ... :panic:

I agree, though if you look at a Hot Toys female body you can see that it's curvy enough (though not curvy enough for Scarlett, who is both shorter and more voluptuous than the Hot Toys body can readily approximate); the problem is getting clothes to fit a Hot Toys female body the way they fit the actresses in the movies. In the movies the clothes the actresses wear are pretty tight around the legs and the butt, and they hug the actresses' curves in any position, but on a Hot Toy you can only only get that skin-tight effect on a costume by striking just the right pose with the figure, otherwise it starts looking baggy.

Earlier in the thread there was a picture of a Phicen body covered in Plasti-dip and it made me wonder: would it be possible for Hot Toys to use Plasti-Dip to approximate the fit of the female costumes in the movies? If they dressed a female figure in a super-tight elastic garment like a leotard and then poured plasti-dip over that, maybe it could approximate both the tightness and the realistic wrinkling of an actual MCU costume?

Hot Toys needs to make more bodies instead of using just an handful of bodies and using padding to make is look approximately like the actresses.

That hair looks like garbage and will get worse over time as people have to comb it repeatedly.

Didn't they say there is a solo movie for her in development? I think I'll just wait to see how that goes... Hopefully she has long hair in that one. The CW regret is real. Still not impressed with this in the least.

I am cautiously optimistic with this one. The handling of the hair will be a long term problem as I generally don’t comb it ever. The sculpt looks fine, but it seems the CW paint app was better in some pictures. Unless A4 looks different or her solo film comes through, this is the final form of Black Widow in the MCU...

It’s just a repaint, more or less, with slight tweaks. There have been a few of those to release as quickly to certain stores after initial official reveals. The Shanghai store exclusives. Sub zero and stealth iron man. I believe one of those CW caps. There’s a couple others.

Still not sure about this one. If she kick major *** in the movie...maybe I'll pick it up. Lol

So....will they release this quicker then?

Right now it’s still on the same schedule. It depends on how the sales do at the Tokyo and Shanghai and Hong Kong stores after the show. If it sells fast then it will still be the same schedule. If the sales are slow then they start sending batches out to distributors sooner. They don’t have a full production run done yet

The hair does look a bit better now, but I'm still not quite tempted enough to buy.

Only reason I might reconsider is just to pair her with IW Cap, since I think they'd probably look good together.

Looks good to me. I just wish they gave her ankle pivot. Kind of lame that after so many iterations they still haven't figured out a way to make the figure more posable. I mean, next to Spider-Man she's the most flexible character in the MCU, and they've shown they can get figures with bodysuits into dynamic poses when they want to.
