Uhm... yeah, the head is a dick, but the back of the head and the tips of the tubes look much more feminine... I'm sure Giger did not sculpt a vagina into the back of the head and I'm almost positive neither did Winston... and I don't recall seeing that in the tubes either...
The inner workings of the facehuggers are another thing completely... and to think a dick springs out of them too...

Too many dicks and vaginas in my post!:rotfl

If pornography has taught us anything there can never be too much of those... (wonder if this is an infractable post :monkey1)

But, yeah... I hadn't noticed the back tubes before... I guess thats a benefit of an overseas company making these, less chance of little details getting scrapped.

Sorry but I just have to ask. Do the arms swival @ the elbows on the HT Aliens fig? Or do they just have the standard bend up & down position. Novice alert, thanks.

I hope that when the Alien is done that it is accurate to the source and not made more organic like this one.

Too much of the cool 'rubber hoses' are missing.

I just recieved the Aliens figure. Another dumb question. I am having trouble w/the 2nd tongue/jaw thingy. Can it stay in place with the switch on the bottom of the head?

The reason I am asking is because some of these great pics I've been seeing have the figure w/the extended jaw. Thank you..

You have to really push it deep into his head, but be slow and gentle and you'll feel it slip into it's locking position.

The "inner jaw" feature on this Alien isn't as smooth in it's operation as the AvP version , you really have to push it forward before it clicks into place .

I was a little too late on the original release and will have to settle for the repainted release. As I understand it, Winston's critters were finished in shades of blue. If I wanted to repaint the upcoming repainted version to more closely resemble the warriors on the film set, does it actually seem do-able or are there too many unreachable nooks and crannies on this figure? Any input from owners will be greatly appreciated.

Nick

I shouldn't imagine it would be too difficult as long as you use an airbrush and keep the paint coats nice and thin . Obviously, stick with good quality acrylics .

The original is still available at a few stores. Monkey Depot still has him available:

I have yet to buy one, I hope he sticks around stores a little while longer.
