Great shot! And majority V1 = winning! :hi5:

That is without a doubt, one of the coolest Jokers I've ever seen.
Small details are good, hair is just brilliant and the coat is sensational.
Top work mate!

Anybody have any tips on how to roll up the V1's sleeves, so they look decent and not like bird wings?
Or at least, better then this? Has anyone made a custom shirt with no velcro, so you can just roll them up like normal?

Pull one off and pop on the other? :dunno :lol

It's actually not that easy.

Most Bank Robber Joker heads were glued to the connector, like wise the V1 head could pop off but the connector would stay on. I bet he can't even pop it off.

It was totally ____ed and one would wonder if Hot Toys did that intentionally. Your best bet Show would be to swap clothes, that's what I did. If you pull the head off with force you risk breaking the neck ring inside the head. Many collectors did that initially.

Glued or not you still pull it off and pop it on. If the lower neck adapter gets left behind, take a pair of needle nose to it and pop it off. They didn't glue the adapter to the ball joint. :lol Basically, this:
That's what I did. :) My BR Joker head was just stuck and didn't want to come off so I pulled the Jacket and shirt down to just above his waist and boiled and popped off the connector, did the same with ver1 Joker, switched heads, dried the bodies with a towel and readjusted the clothing and it's as simple as that.

is there any instructional method how to swap the bank robber HS joker on the V1 body? :D

Really? I pop heads on and off all the time. And why wouldn't you want it to pop off with the connector? :dunno

The Bank Robber comes with two heads. What do you do if you want to put on the masked head? Assuming you only have one BR Joker you would need to swap the heads. The difference is you'd be forced to swap the connector from one head to the other, which I admit is a pain in the ass. On more than one occasion I have ended up leaving the little rubber ring behind on the connector, but I literally can't fathom that ring breaking from normal head removal. If I wanted to break it, it would take some serious force. When the ring gets left like that, I just work it off the connector with a flathead screwdriver, then glue it back in place on the head - Head is still mint. :)

Generally what I do to get the connector/adaptor out of a head is to heat the head/neck with a hair dryer. Then the connector usually comes out nice and easy, ring and all. But again, if the ring comes out, it's a quick glue job. :)

What I did when I put my BR head on the V1 was literally pop it off and pop it on - connector and all. (The connectors are generic. No reason to worry about which one ends up on which figure.)

Because the V1 connector wouldn't come off for a lot of collectors, that's why. That was the problem for many. The BR Joker head and connector/adapter would come off, but the BR Joker head wouldn't come off the connector/adapter. The V1 Joker head would detach from the connector/adapter but the connector/adapter wouldn't detach from the ball joint on the true type of the body. You can't put the BR connector and head on the V1 body when the V1's connector won't come off. It's just not possible.

That's when it becomes a problem.

The Bank Robber comes with two heads. What do you do if you want to put on the masked head? Assuming you only have one BR Joker you would need to swap the heads.

Here's what I did.

- Take the regular Bank Robber head off, the connector came with it because it was glued.

- Take the V1 Joker head off, the connector stayed on the body.

- I now have a BR body without a connector and a regular Joker V1 with a connector.

- Strip the BR body of the BR clothes, strip the Joker V1 body of the regular clothes

- Put the BR clothes on the V1 body along with the second slicked back hair, smirk, mask head (remember this has the connector)

- Put on the Regular V1 clothes on the BR body with the Bank Robber Joker head (remember the neck socket is empty because the connector is attached to the head

Bank Robber Joker w/ slicked back hair and mask and Regular Joker with original Bank Robber head.

Now if you wanted to put the second head on you were basically ____ed unless you broke the head off the connector, warmed up the head off the connector (which still broke the ring for some) etc. It wasn't simple.

It ain't rocket science I know, but it was still a problem. And yeah, yeah bust out the pliers, tweezers, hot water, blow dryer and glue but alot of collectors, like myself don't do ____ like that. Personally I'm of the mind that a collector shouldnot have to have those tools at their side to simply swap heads. Especially when said head is MEANT to be removable.

Never been a "problem" for me. If you want the neck adaptor to come off with the head and it stays behind on the figure, find a way to get it off. If you want the head to come off while leaving the adapter behind, but they stay together, find a way to separate them and put the adapter back on the figure. :dunno

I just see it as part of the deal.

= Waaaaay more work than:

...pliers, tweezers, hot water, blow dryer and glue...

To each his own.

If the head or connector doesn't come off like it should with slight persistence (we're not talking about yanking or excessive force here) then it's not coming off without tools. I don't recommend prying parts with tools or hot water/blow drying at all. I've done the latter with some figures and the plastic has a tendency to discolor, warp and "crack" figures. Sculpt seams that were never even noticeable appear. As for gluing the ring back in, I hate that. I've had that happen to one T-1000 figure (who had a considerably loose ring). Part of it popped out (it tore) and Hot Toys exchanged it for me. If it's broken, it's broken. Yeah I could glue it but that doesn't change the fact that it was broken and I fixed it. It's a flaw. They sent me a new one that didn't have the problem and that was it. Done and done. Perfect figure, no flaws.

Anyway, I think we can all agree it's not a "simple swap" if you have to take a chainsaw and fire extinguisher to it.

The Side of the Show if you don't want to risk prying or heat I really recommend just changing out clothes. If you're familiar with futzing, changing the clothes completely makes them look better when you put them on yourself.

There's a whole discussion on this here if you're interested, good luck.
