I finally got an HD TV a couple weeks ago. I got a Panasonic 50" 720p for $1400.00. I didn't see the need in paying the extra money for 1080p since my viewing distance is far enough away to not see a difference.

I've been watching movies all weekend and BR movies look amazing. POTC is just jaw dropping.

Same one (Samsung 4665). Watching Transformers in HD right now. It looked good on my other TV, but it looks great on this. The blacks are a lot better than on my plasma.

hell yeah!!!! i love my 4665. i haven't hooked an HD player up to it though...dvd's looked great, can't wait to watch HD material on it.

blue ray movies and games on my ps3 look amazing on this TV
