I am in the process of refitting the figure with a ttm20 and have run into trouble on multiple fronts (chest, waist, hips, legs, neck, forearms). I managed to shave the legs down to a comfortable size but the ball joint connecting to the hip is still too big, restricting movement to an annoying extent. I'm afraid that shaving them even a little bit might mess with the structural integrity.
I've tried swapping body parts but the only bodies I have available to me do not allow for the hips to be separated, they lack the third screw and I assume glue was used. Mostly, I am looking to be directed to someone who has swapped the body successfully (I've seen it done before). However, I am still welcome to general knowhow and advice as well. I made the mistake of selling the body before testing the waters so I'm kind of stuck with following through with this mess, lol.
