Hello from Down Under!

Hi all!

I'm from Australia and have only started collecting this year. It all began when I decided to take a peek inside a comic store I was walking past and couldn't help but admire how cool all the statues looked (and they weren't even Sideshow!).

I'm mainly into Marvel and Street Fighter at the moment, with the exception of my much loved Optimus Prime Maquette. I've been a transformers fan ever since I was a little kid and I loved the movies, so just couldn't say no!

Looking forward to contributing and hopefully getting to know some people here

I've been to Kings Comics, they only stock Bowen...other than that I only know of popcultcha.com.au as far as Australian retailers go. Game Traders at Westfield Parra are able to order in Sideshow (and I presume other) statues and their prices are pretty reasonable.

I usually go through Popcultcha myself. They get their stock straight from Sideshow and they dont bump up the price as much as I thought they would. Plus free postage Australia wide for orders over $100.

Yea, when you factor in Sideshow shipping costs to us here in Aus popcultcha have very fair prices.

Has anyone bought from casefresh? They don't have much stock but seem really cheap (and suss...)?

Hi m8 , I am in Sad Sydney No Hot Toys shops aswell

I use Popcultcha mainly ! as I only grab Figures from Side Show that have exclusives like DX11 Joker , Classic Pred, ect, ect.. but Postage is getting too Heavy from them l;ast few Months , so its popcultcha..

Welcome to the boards man, I used to get stuff from casefresh all the time. They are all above board especially when they have a sale and
are very aggressive when it comes to their markdowns but they only do it every now and then.

I think they buy any items from Distributors that are on Special ? Then Pump them out at cheap Prices for quick Turn around ??

Top_cat2: if you're into Hot Toys, there's a shop in Market City that sells them but at grossly inflated prices. Game Traders at Westfield also stocks Hot Toys and at very good prices. In fact, I think they end up cheaper than if you were to buy from Sideshow and ship it...
