Hasbro Smart R2-D2 Bluetooth Remote (almost 1/4 scale) - Weathering

I bought this guy on an impulse on ebay for $50. It's about 10% too small to be 1/4 scale, but I thought WTH, it's worth having even as a cheap statue if I get bored of the remote functions:

I decided to try my hand at weathering a larger figure, since no big loss if I screw it up. Turned out ok I think. If I get the courage up, I'll try to sand off that dome seam line and refinish the metal color. For now, I'm still having fun driving this guys around messing with the dogs and cats, and generally irritating the household

Looks good! This thing is a lot of fun. I love the way he can rock back and forth at the shoulders.
