Most of my 1/6 scale Star Wars figures use modified (or sometimes stock) Hasbro uniforms, weapons, boots, etc. They are great for filler/trooper building. Of course, Sideshow's figures are much more detailed, but I love using Hasbro's affordable pieces for fun customs.

I like the VOTC series of 12" figures. The Boba Fett was awesome, especially when upgraded to a better body. The Stormtrooper was very good as well, considering the price. I upgraded several VOTC Stormtroopers to Dragon/BBi bodies and they are a fantastic way to fill out your Stormie ranks.

Gregorbian, You make a lot of good points that are beautifully backed up by the pictures of your customs! The VOTC stormtroopers look really good although I would swap-out/repaint the helmet because it doesn't match the armor too well, flat paint? I've only seen the Fett in box but it does look much better, good base for mando customs . I just got the hasbro AOTC 12" scale yoda that looks really good in hand and I am going to upgrade the body with more articulation.

I have the little Jake Lloyd. I had enough fun with it. The sculpt may not look right but if you squeezed his face flatter, it actually resembles Jake pretty well!

Lucked out today at Winners with the CW Savage wave... Both Savages along with Chewie and the pretty cool space Rex... all for $5 each. Gotta love Winners.

The only 3 3/4" I collect are the astromech droids. I got out of buying the other figures a while back.

I'll be going tomorrow (1/31) to try and get the droid pack. I also mostly collect the 3 3/4 droids and an odd figure that I like. Last week when I was there they were re-doing the SW section. I'll let you guys know.

I've gotten the TRU Podracer pack and the Mos Espa pack in the last 2 days. I don't participate at Rebelscum or really follow Hasbro stuff online so for anybody who knows - are there any plans to put out flags for Ben Quadinaros, Ratts Tyrell and Ody Mandrell? The flags are kinda crap (they remind me of Wonderbread bags in quality) but it would be nice to have them for everybody.

CE Chewie is pretty damn cool. I've only ever bought around ten CW figures but man, you can really see the improvement quality wise.

Yeah, you get individual flags for everyone in the Podracer Pilots pack and Mos Espa Arena pack. I can understand Ody Mandrell since he's a TPM figure but Ben and Ratts really should have included flags.

Like I said, the quality is not great. They tend to curl and feel super-flimsy. There's also no real good way to display them other than wedging them into one of the grooves on the stand. But the idea is good one and with some futzing they'll look cool.

Picked up Maul, Sidious and Qui-Gon today. Love them. For all the great HT figures out there, Star Wars has a special place no matter what the size.

YoNose those are cool! I see what you mean about not being able to properly display, but I think that's a neat addition to otherwise rehashed figures.

local TRU has a sale on today..although i have all the figures from 2 weeks ago i grabbed openers of Maul,Padme and the Naboo Soldier.
Also grabbed an opener of tcw Savage Opress whom i hope Sideshow do a 1/6th figure of....
