No, he doesn't cut the mustard for me anymore. His front logics are not painted internally and therefore look like crap, and his front holoprojector looks bad as well. The original, and I know it was hand painted, just wowed in this scale, where the result is not decent enough for me to blow $30 shipped on...
 
I really like that Sand Trooper. That's probably the only one i'll get. Seeing im not big on regular "human faced" figures. Regardless there still nice. I do agree these are long over due. Its almost sad it took this long to get nice figures at this scale of Star Wars characters.

What I actually don't like about the pilot Luke, is those early 'Marvel Legends' style hip & thigh swivel joints.

They've been using the nice ball hip joints for years now - why go back to those? :monkey4
 
Seems that Yodasnews.com has a new story on how crappy the R2-D2 is compared to the prototype. Looks like a completely different figure.
