I wouldn't mind a New York when the Five Families were in full swing.

I think we've had enough New York/Liberty City to last the next ten console generations.

Unless it's Gangs of New York, Bill the Butcher, New York. I'd pay for that.

I'm pushing for 60's-70's London or somewhere tropical, personally.

I'm thinking if they do London, they would have to rename it, like they have with all of the US cities they've done. Any ideas for a name?

Damn. Well that limits alot of things they can do without retreading again.

Perhaps Miami extended to Mexico

The good thing is that they're not opposed to making a game set in London, and may even have an idea for one. The question is, if it's different enough from GTA to not be a GTA game, what the hell is it about? Personally, I would love to have a Rockstar game set in London, but I specifically want it to be a GTA that feels like a Guy Ritchie movie, or a GTA that takes place in 60s-70s era London.

I guess they could get away with setting an undercover cop/detective game in either of those eras, still have all the mechanics of GTA, but not call it GTA because you're on the other side of the law, but even then, I'd want it to take place in the GTA universe.

Dammit, Rockstar.

Modern present day Vice City. My prediction

I'd put my money on a new "GTA V era" of games that will expand to include San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas) before making Vice City again.

If they're sticking with the US, my vote is for 60's or 70's San Fierro. That's about as different from the existing games as you can get and still set it in the US.

Although, Vice City would be cool if they added a ton of swampland, complete with alligators, pythons, swamp boats, and seaplanes.

They could also go further south into Latin America, and give us Cartel warfare and jungles.

Or, surprise everyone, and do a modern day version of the playable area from RDR, with lots of border jumping and drug running. If you're going to make fun of the US, you can't do better than Texas, and throwing Mexico into the mix would make things even more interesting.

I like the Tokyo idea.

Or perhaps a more "international" GTA. One that actually takes you to several different major cities around the globe. Sort of how GTA:San Andres took you between 3-4 distinct areas around an area, the next GTA could take you across the globe. And considering how it'll likely be on Next-Gen, wouldn't it be cool if you could hijack a plane and FLY yourself over there?

Something like having Los Santos, Hawaii-like island, and Tokyo/Hong Kong-esque Asian city with the huge "ocean" in-between. And navigating missions and such between the three of them.

I do like the idea of a "Future GTA" though I feel that would be a separate franchise from GTA. A futuristic take on the GTA world would be awesome incorporating aspects from Blade Runner, Fifth Element, Total Recall, etc. and the future dystopic-like cities.

Carcer City would be nice! (GTA universe of Detroit). It is mentioned in GTA V, aswell as being mentioned in GTA III, GTA IV, GTA SA, etc.

Vice City would be my next choice but I'd like San Fierro and Las Venturas as DLC for GTA:O

Best idea i've read :goodpost:

In future GTA's i'd like them to have Basketball, Horse Riding & Skateboarding as playable sports.

The movie Casino era Las Vegas for Las Venturas.

With switchout between characters based on Sam Rothstein and Nicky Santoro.

INSIDE TOMMY VERCETTI's BODY!

Think the movie innerspace, and cross it with osmosis jones, and you're in the right neibhorhood.
