This should have been the pose, but they didn't go that way. However, what SSC produced looks pretty great.

I will never get how people prefer museum poses to a good dynamic pose with a great base.

Likewise. I don't know how people prefer a crappy dynamic pose to an amazing stoic pose with a great base.:monkey1

I think the problem is that MANY of us would love to have a GL that would fit in with a JL display, and this one does fit as well as we might like whereas Superman and Batman were obviously designed to go together

I'm actually doing a Full Scale comparison of all the DC PF's so far to see how he fits in the Size Range. I'm actually making the pictures all from the same approximate camera angles and fitting them to the specifications on Sideshow's spec pages. I'll post when it's done.

Nice. That'll be a great help. If he looks good with Bats and Supes, it just may change my thinking. I really just wanted the trinity when SSC received the DC license. After originally seeing the GL PF I wasn't blown away by it. However, after seeing in hand pics of it, I must say it looks pretty cool. I got on the WL early so I'll have to wait and see if I convert.

If I do convert and I like the piece in hand, I have to say that would open the gateway for me to collect the Big 7 instead of just the trinity. Otherwise, I'll just stick with the trinity and Bat related characters.

Okay So here we go. I used a 28x67" Canvas in Photoshop so I could scale pictures of the various DCU PF's to actual height so we could have a proper comparison. It's as accurate as I could make it give the pictures I had to work with.

I used the guide line tool to make boxes for height and width specifications that are given on Sideshow's Website. Here's a picture with the guidelines on.

Here's a clearer view, I used the scale tool to fit each PF into the specification boxes I made.

And Here is what they look like if you were to group them closer together.

I don't know if this helps anyone or not but I hope it gives you a little bit better picture of what a possible JLA set up might look like. :)

Wow thanks so much for these comparison pics. you help me make up my mind. It's great, but pass for sure. It's too small next to the real PF. So passing for sure. Hmmm is ivy a comiquette? She looks a bit small too?

His head looks 1/4 scale, the body however...

The Height of the Figure and Width of the figure is in scale with the rest of the PF's

That lean is killing how big he looks. Here's a quick Manipulation.

Although I will say compared to Batman, GL's got chicken legs.

Funny Part about that lean, I could swear it's gotten worse since SDCC last year.

:exactly: well said.

That is pretty much what I was thinking, but that does make me hope that eventually a more static museum pose comes out in order to stand up a little better with the rest of the Justice League.

I have GL waitlisted but I dunno, I kinda want to see what he looks like next to Batman in hand before I make a decision.

If he looks good, great, if not I'll sell him when/if a better one comes out. Wouldn't be the first time.

You'll have to wait at least until August to see him next to Batman. If Sinestro is at comic con then they'll most likely have this next to him.

I find it highly suspicious that Sideshow has never released an official picture of this so called 1/4 PF beside another 1/4 PF...never

Imho, a lot of buyers are going to be pretty pissed when they go to display him with the rest of the JLA PFs
