Hey Guys, Trying out a new category for my Channel, Retro Reviews.

This is my first installment and I chose one of my all time favorite GI Joe action figures from the 90's to kick it off, hope you enjoy:)

I have him with a few others left from the HOF line. He was probably the best of that time.

I loved the savage toy line. Lots of fun and the last Joe line I got to say goodbye with as i crossed into teenagehood after.

Yup, these were well built quality toys, made from durable plastics and vinyl, also for the price point I rarely ever came across QC issues.

Agreed, Savage was my favorite figure made during the Hall of Fame era, the cartoon wasn't the greatest but the toy was top notch for the early to mid 90's.

I'm surprised someone hasn't taken the Randy Orton sculpt that was available and done an updated custom of SGT Savage.

That's actually a pretty good idea, sound like a fun project and not to hard to do, are you talking about the maximum aggression Randy Orton head or is there another?

I got the head to use for my Duke, but it doesn't work IMO. Now I don't know what to do with it. May just have to get a muscle body and do a Sgt Savage (even though he was not part of MY GI Joe)

Man, I loved this figure. One of my favorites growing up. It usually had an eyepatch on as Nick Fury (the REAL one, not this SLJ BS).
