I don't really remember this one very well. The Sunbow was fun to watch, though really campy.

Why would you need blu ray for a cartoon? Every time they transfer a cartoon to blu ray, they end up looking worse than DVD. Take a look at Samurai Champloo.
You are not going to get any high def out of an old cartoon that wasn't meant to be high def. Sure they can clean it up a bit, but HD is really unnecessary.
Also, please don't be offended because all I'm doing is trying to help you out, and let you know some facts.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually want to watch more. As DPrime said its fascinating to see all those post-87 characters actually featured in a cartoon.

At least CC and Sgt. Slaughter have the same voices.

I honestly don't see anything that looks remotely worse than the OG toon. I might actually pick this up. Looks like everybody came back for the voices anyway so it might actually be fun.

I was reading the comics at the time so the Sunbow was pretty much a bastardization anyway.
