A truly great film makes you emote to characters and I didn't get that with dark knight.
I can appreciate dark knight for it's grandeur, actor's performance & director vision but I never felt anything for the film. I felt detached from the film

IMO a truly great film sucks you in and has you feeling the pain & joy for characters

Thats how I felt about both Iron Man and TDK. I had a hell of a good time with both.I think anyone saying TDK is massively overrated is just a smidge of an overstatement. Just my 2 cents though.
