For WayBack Wednesday - Sideshow's Creature from the Black Lagoon!

It's already Wayback Wednesday, and I thought I'd look at an old review of one of my favorite monsters, done in sixth scale - the Sideshow Creature from the Black Lagoon! This is one of those occasions where I like the figure better know than I did 12 years ago...you can find the review here:

Holy crap. Its been 13 years ago? I was only 32 years old then. I wish I was still in as mint condition as my Creature toy is,lol. 13 years. Wow.

Enjoyed the review then, and re-seeing it now. Great figure.

I've been trying to find one of these for my son for awhile. He LOVES the creature, but I don't know if I want to pay what's being asked. Great review. Thanks!!

This is one of those things that makes me wish I could go back in time and get stuff at it's original price. I wouldn't go back in time and stop Hitler or prevent disasters, I would get stuff cheaper.

Although I would maybe try to save Suncoast and Tower records, so to this day I'd be able to buy 1/6 figures at retail.

Yea he is easily worth up to $150.

Yea, not what i want to pay for a figure for my 9 year old. I know he would take care of it, just not sure if it's worth it right now.

I loved Sideshow's horror line! I have several 12" and 8" figs.

Is the rubber on the Creature still intact? If so, maybe they should let Hot Toys in on the secret...
