Where did you get the 12" scale Star Trek outfit?

Sorry - they all look pretty cool to me by the way - should of said that first!

Andy

Thanks!!
The Trek outfit was homemade years ago!! It predates Dragon, BBI and Sideshow entering the 1:6 scene.

Good work Ironman, took a while to download the pics on dial up but was worth it.

You're quite the seemster. Those Star Trek uniforms look better than the fluffy ones that were worn by those Trekers you put the pics up of their sculpts. Does that make sense? Probably just to you, if anybody. Did you make all or most of them costumes? I can tell who they all are except a couple.

Good stuff, thanks for posting all those pics. It's great seeing what others get up to.

I'll relay the compliments. I did understand you completely Creecher. I, however, wasn't clear enough. The uniforms are all home made, but not by me. I only wish I could do that. I talked my mom into trying those out and was pleased she did. Only wish she had made some more... :(

Well you certainly have a good mum there. I once asked a seemstress how much it would be to make a custom outfit for a 12 inch doll, it was like A$100. :bonk . I was like PASS. :\

Re: Trek outfits

I Love the Lorne from Angel. Do you have a larger picture? Looks awesome!

Re: Trek outfits

Cool stuff. I second GilGaladHK. That's a nice Lorne. Is the head yours?

Before the rumors about the Buffy stoppage, I was happy to wait for the secondary characters like Anya, the Mayor, Dawn, and Tara (my wishlist of secondary characters - Giles being the only primary character left IMO), then eventually the Angel 5 (Cordy, Wes, Fred, Gunn, and Lorne), even if it took a couple or three years or four years to get them. Now I've got a "screw it, I'm making my own" attitude. I figure if they ever make an "official" version, I'll just keep whichever one I like better. Of course, it seems to take me over a year for each new figure I make. My problem is the clothes. You have an uber cool mother, if she will sew clothes for your figures. Mine just yells at me for leaving heads and other miniature body parts lying around the house.

Re: Trek outfits

Its my Lorne head in that I own it :p
I bought one that someone had converted from a bust. I had no choice, it seemed, if I wanted to have one. It appears I'll have to look for a Giles bust and several Apes as well.
My mom was willing to sew at the time while her eyes held out and it gave her something to do.

First up, Commander Willard Decker:

Next, when the USCM were pinned down on a hostile planet, and the government seemed to have abandoned them, a wealthy, independent businessman sent in his own team of specialists. The Steel Brigade:
