Figma and Revoltech Collecting Thread!!

You got me looking now. Anyone got any of the Medicos Kinnikuman figures? They look pretty good, but I am not familiar with the brand. How do they compare with Figmas/Revoltechs?

They are in perfect scale. I have Buffaloman, warsman, and robin mask they fit great. Kinnikuman is a tad bit smaller though but barely noticable when they're crouched and ready to fit.

Thanks for that. What is the articulation/sculpting/paint like on the Medicos? I think a Robin Mask has just joined my wishlist.

my medicos stuff are pretty sturdy, sculpt and paint are fantastic. Scaling too...buffaloman is huge. No QC issues for me but I may have lucked out.

They're good from what I've seen, They just aren't as nice looking as the Revoltech one IMO.

The figures scale perfectly with each other, based on the character heights from the source material.

That's great. Thanks FrankieDF. So, that's sorted then. I get the V2 Robin Mask, for reasons of patriotism as well as the fact that he is as camp as Christmas.

Great figma figures and great photos guys! I really love this figures but I just have 3 actually, They are:

-Kanu Uncho from "Ikki Tousen", I just love how sexy and deadly she is hehehe.

-Reika from "Gantz" Anothe sexy and deadly girl, I love this one because I really like the manga and also because it was really diffiult (at least for me), to get her.

-Gally from "GUNNM Battle Angel Alita" This is my favorite Manga/Ova from all times. It is not officially a figma, but it is consider the "Figma 0". The reason is, she was designed by Masaki Apsy (designer creator of the figma series), and watching the great seller she was, Max Factory ask to improve the resistence of the figure keeping the great poseabilility, and the rest is history.

Nice figma collections you've got there and Reika is indeed one of the fine piece never release in terms of the comic products available in the market.

I really like those black rock shooter characters released by figma and this is how I get into the game

IMO those fullmetal figures are better then the Medicom and play arts figures.

Don't get me wrong those figures look good and like them a lot, but Revoltech needs to step up their game and lose or redesign their revolver joint. I just don't understand their need to put big ball-peg ratchet joints on a figure that small. Figma and s.h. figuarts are setting new standards of what makes a figure great. Sorry for the mini rant.

p.s. The only other Revoltech I want tot get is a couple of the Ray Harryhausen skeletons.
