We can definitely agree that 2010 was nothing special at least. Some good animation (Toy Story 3, Tangled, etc.) but not much else.

89 Batman trailer is awesome.


Begins trailer=also awesome; but even more evidence of why deleted scenes/extended cuts are needed.

TDK Trailer is very awesome, but, and don't get mad, I think you're wrong about the release date. I Am Legend had the first teaser attached, with the rays of light shining through the darkness with Alfred and Joker voiceover, while IMAX got the 5-minute prologue. As awesome as that trailer is, though, this one holds a special place in my heart, as I was among the first to see it at NYCC '08:

I first saw the TDK teaser online (the one with the voices), but the first trailer, I saw it with My brother when we saw I Am Legend , and it was December of 2007. Ledger was still alive

That teaser you're talking about ("Tonight, people will did. I'm a man of my word") was shown in the summer around the Simpsons movie. I want to say July. That's around the time the viral campaign kicked off. One of the hints that summer was, "see you in December", which meant the trailer. I remember after that Thursday or Friday I saw Legend, I waited until Sunday for the official version to come online.

In December of 2007, there was the 6 Minute IMAX prologue attached to I Am Legend while the trailer was shown with the regular version of I am Legend. That's the trailer I listed above.

Did anyone see this TDK trailer in theaters? It was trailer #4, I saw this one in early 2008, and I always thought it was interesting because Ledger's Joker voice and laugh are not the same...I guess they used different takes. I like the way he said "I'll settle for his loved ones" very different from the actual film.

That trailer was only available to Dominos and Comcast. It was never shown in theaters I don't think. That's why it's hard to find HD quality.

I still prefer the laugh he used in this trailer when he's driving the truck and the helicopter crashes. And, the "I'll settle for his loved ones" line sounded better in this trailer, imo. When he said it on the film, I was like, what happened? Oh well.

Ah, I went back and looked it up, and I believe you are right. That's my bad, sir. I don't know why I remembered seeing that teaser trailer during I Am Legend.

No, it was incredibly vivid. I remember sitting in the theater and everything. Now, I suddenly remember seeing the trailer on my computer screen. You straight up Ken Watanabe Inceptioned me, Fabs.

I actually did have a dream that I saw it back in '08, now that you mention it. Thanks for bringing that up! I remember feeling angry because, in the dream, it ended with Joker wearing a Santa suit and the credits saying something along the lines of "Part 2 coming next year."

These 2 Godzilla trailers were brilliant and I still remember the cheers in the movie theatre when they played.
