I live in CT and have ordered from Troy. I have also visited his store, etc etc. Very nice guy and never had a problem with him. He always answered my emails and questions. As far as I know, he does work alone and when he attends conventions (ie. Comic-Con), he does take a few days before he answers your emails.

Ordered from Troy many times and visited his shop. Great guy and never had an issue. I would be truly shocked if he screwed someone on a deal - this doesn't sound right at all.
