Facepool 1/6 German MG42 Machine Gunner at Ardennes (FP007)

Got this guy today finally after multiple delays and push backs. This is my first Facepool figure. There had been alot of debate on the headsculpts on the BBICN forum upon release they're not as the prototype shown originally. But it doesn't bother me too much as I've decided to keep the figure
Overall a nice figure but pricey as I got the Special Edition with two headsculpts and the display stand etc.

The following items:

Y straps - not sure of material
Belt - not sure of material
Gun holster - Real leather
MG42 toolkit - Real leather
Boots - Real leather
Boot knife - Plastic
Helmet - Metal
Shovel - Metal & wood
MG42 - PVC plastic (mine arrived with piece loose/broken)!!
MG42 bullet belt - Real metal
US .45 Handgun - Plastic with movable parts and magazine removable.
Cigarette - Paper/cardboard
Uniform medals - (wound badge/Assault award are stick on not like DID pins)
Uniform - it's OK but wrong colour, should be Fieldgrau not Grey. Mine won't be seen anyway as I have the tunic and Raincoat and US pants covering him.

Camo Smock is pretty good and well made. The US poncho is quite good too the material is very thin and its realistic.
There's plenty of things Facepool could improve on like using real leather for items etc. Would have been nice to have a metal MG42. It's not really worth the price tag to be honest so consider wisely before buying this one.

Facepool's figures are generally very good. The uniforms and kit/gear are fantastic. The head sculpts are their only negative. Either the sculpts or the paint apps are lacking.

It's a decent figure but don't like the pleather y-straps and pleather belt. Really not a fan of plasticy stuff when you can have leather like DID. The headsculpts are nowhere near the original prototypes shown.

Yes, but they're already sort of punched out. Just push them out of the mold or paper.

I'm not a military guy, but there was a version of this type of figure with the rain slicker that I was interested in. Something about the look appealed to me. I don't think it was this guy, though. The head sculpts don't look like the one I was interested in.

I think its a very nice figure with perhaps the heads being a little disappointing. Almost charicature in appearance - teeth are too pronounced as well. Only my second facepool figure - big DID collector.
