It's funny you said it because I was thinking it :rotfl

I am not understanding why some are so harsh on this matter as Enterbay are taking responsibility for this unfortunate mishap ! It would have been much worse if they didn't - and now it turns out that some of us actually wished they where affected as the compensation is really good !!! Geeeeeez....

I will be in the same boat!:1-1:

Hey Rorywan, be sure to check this with the Beijing dealer

Compiled info from EB & Bill's 'weibo',

- Those who had collected their sets from the EB store between 31st May to 2nd June can bring back their BD heads for repair at the store. In addition, affected parties will also be given another head sculpt without the moving eyeballs system. (EB's 'weibo' mentioned the extra head + a body but I didn't see the extra body being mentioned at Bill's 'weibo')

- Sets due for release 3rd June & onwards belong to a new batch with repaired & improved BD headsculpts, no extra headsculpt will be given.

- Collectors who received sets released during the mentioned time frame via Ebay or other channels can also send in their BG heads to EB for repair + extra headsculpt. (Bill's response to someone's query)

Thank you so much for the translation Aeumuse ! It seems to me that Enterbay are taking this matters seriously, and I hope that all ends well now ! I would have like to know what the extra head without the EVision eyeball system sculpt is like....

damn!! now i wish i had the first batch......:lol

Haha ! Yeah, I am thinking the same thing !!! (thought I am not sure which batch I am getting - but I have e-mailed my supplyer [Enterbay's Beijing dealer])

Yeh, a fixed BD head plus a painted-eyes version would be good compensation for the those receiving a dodgy first batch I'd say. And if they're throwing in an extra body too, that'd be an even bigger bonus. It looks to me like the painted eyes on the proto BD head pics provide a better portrait than the moving eyes version, but moving eyes always look a lot buggier in pics than in hand.

:goodpost::exactly:

Great post LeJuan as always !!!

I agree GungFu, I think EB's handling of this EVision mishap has been appropriate - they appear to have moved quickly to resolve the issue and communicate this to their customers. Those getting the 'dodgy' batch might be getting more than they bargained for, in a good way - those painted-eyes heads may come to be worth a pretty penny down the track.

Yeah, now I hope I get wonky eyes!

Haha !

Yeah, exactly !

By the way, I found this cool cat picture:

...I wonder if the cat is doing an inspection on those three figures (though neither of them have the serious bruised head sculpt....) - maybe that’s what went wrong in Enterbay’s first batch !

lol EB now said they make a mistake. :panic: NO extra body, just an extra BD head as compensation. :panic:

They really dropped the ball on this one didn't they? I want to like Enterbay but they are just being taken to town, their product is inferior, their delays endless and their prices outrageous.

I dont buy

:panic:

Lots of ppl who PO oversea were mislead by those early proto shots from shop display. Those are not prototype of the mass production product. Those are just a sculpt hand paint by Y.J. Park, thats why they look so amazing.

I agree, but would you be happier if they were not around?
I think it's great to have more than one company producing 1/6th collectibles.

This is cool. I'm pretty sure I will be getting an extra HS then. Two in fact :)

And the seller will take care of all the hassle of returning the heads for me. I just have to wait a little longer but that's no problemo with me :yess:

Come back tinister. I've really been enjoying your posts. Don't let the negative Nancy boys bring you down. They're one handed typists and post padders for the most part. Just tell everyone your a smoker and that was your last ciggy too. How are you going to stay outta here for another week? Call yourself a Freak. Why I oughtta!!!! Get your Oh pinion into gear and wheel your carcase back now. :impatient:

I reserve the right to take back what I just said if "GOD is in-hand" is some kind of euphemism.

Oh I'm still reading the posts and updates :) I was just going to stay out of it until I had actual pics to post. Things were getting a little too personal for my taste. But I've got thick skin hehe :wave

The way I figure; I bought two. If they're truly duds; I modify one so that whatever is wrong is righted. And I either keep the other mib or sell it.

As a collector I've learned to accept that certain things are out of my control. That there are things I have to just accept on faith and dive in if I expect to enjoy the hobby.

If I pull back at every little thing - I probably would have maybe 10 figures in my collection since I've had reservations about pretty much every figure that's hit the market.

"The way I figure" - I should copyright that pun!

So no worries. I respect everyone on this thread - even the ones who don't agree with me - or are mean to me :monkey2 LOL :hi5:

My Kato arrived 20mins ago, it's nice but If you are expecting HT quality you will be dissapointed. Also a few fixes will be required, the paint on the hands has smudged in the tray and a few little marks on chin from the outfit. Worth picking up though, i will post some pics later. don't mean to sound negative about it, it's very cool and the packaging is great, I guess I see what people have been talking about with Enterbays quality control.

Quick question: Are there different versions of this? My one says deluxe limited and it's numbered, but I saw a pic on another thread with a different middle section in the box.
Thanks.

Congrats Rorywan! Take a pic of the shoes for me. I want to see if it matches mine (and Axe's).

I just got off the phone with my seller. He said he spoke with his buddy in HK about the defective heads. Sounds like the defect in the eye system is just what we were discussing earlier. The system allows for adjustment of each eyeball. During shipping - the eyeballs shifted slightly and looks buggy upon arrival. And people can't or don't want to fix it on their end - so EB decided to have everyone in the first batch send back the heads. They will adjust the eyes and also adjust it so that there's more pressure between the larger adjustment balls and the two eyeballs. That way the eyeballs won't shift during shipping.

BUT - that means the eyes will infact be harder to adjust by the user afterwards. But if they are adjusted perfect and don't shift in shipping - should be no reason to futs with them anyways.

I have gone from kind of liking this figure to full blown love! I think I want a second one to dress two figures!

The shoes look different from the pics I have seen, more ordinary with a bigger heel and not as shiny. Have I been duped? One of them has the Enterbay logo on the sole.
Sorry iphone pics.
