Why does Enterbay's website suck so much?

Style over substance... they're champs at it. But at least they have a website and an ebay store customers can order from. And they have a CS department. Hot Toys on the other hand leaves all the peasant stuff like buying their products and answering QC concerns to their distributors.

I stopped trying to use HT's site well over a year ago. Before the virus problems it sucked due to being so slow. But EB's isn't much better. I guess those guys don't think a quick, easy to use website that is intuitive and somewhat utilitarian has much of a place in the modern world.

"Peasant stuff"

I lol'd.

Poor retailers, copping the slack of Hot Toys!

I'm actually not bothered by that. My main sources for buying Hot Toys are Sideshow and Razor's Edge. The customer service is pretty good at the former and unparalleled at the latter. :rock

And Hot Toys does help with QC. They just use a very broad definition of "help" that includes only assisting if you have exhausted every other potential option, have bought through a select distributor, and are having an issue they were forced only to confront after being bombarded for weeks on Facebook. Then, they're likely to ship stuff to you in a padded envelope so it will be beat to hell on top of it.

So, give credit where it is due :D

I dunno... it's interesting to compare QC debacles: HT BB Bats vs EB MIB3. While EB's 'fix' was to apply tape to defective (ie poorly engineered) bodies, at least they had an avenue where customers could contact them about getting their crappy bodies fixed/replaced.

HT's response was to bury their heads in the sand and let customers get a refund via their distributors or get left with a dud figure.

Personally, I buy all my HT stuff from BBTS and SSC, but I get my EB stuff through EB directly. Mind you, after the GoD v3 and MIB3 balls-ups, I'm reluctant to ever again buy their stuff 'til the in-hand reviews have come in.

rationally, we must wait for EB's later batch.
but it's batman & joker :panic:
Still curious if the later batch of MIB figures is problem free:cuckoo:

I went to Enterbay's site to check the price on this and was whisked away to the year 2004. I just had to turn the speakers on to get the full experience. They really need to start over from scratch and have someone create a modern website.

Sometimes the second batches with EB are more mass produced and have more issues.

No rule of thumb here.

I'm not talking about second batches my friend ....but the 4th batch:gah:
Finally pull the trigger and asked my local seller to handcarry it for me.
going to have this on 5 july:slap

I could care less if Enterbay uses porn music on their website as long as the purchase is made easy, and it was.

3 clicks and Batman was purchased.

I want Batman.

I'll order him at a later date though. I can't throw down $420 right now. :(
