Dying textile leather jacket to Green

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has experience with dyeing leather clothing. I want this brown jacket to be dark green

I don't believe it is real leather and the material says textile. I'm not sure what that means. Is it possible to dye this?

Hey dude I'm not sure if your gonna have luck with leather but I tried dying a light brown textile sort of material to a navy blue and it worked but it went stiff :/ if it's leather good luck lol

Oh no! How stiff did it get? Was it unusable?

rustoleum makes a fabric and vinyl paint that won crack. ive used only black on 1/6 faux leather coats and after a few years its stilll fine. Im not sure what other colors they have.

Wow thank you I am definitely going to try that! My mom knows a shoe repair guy and he has leather paint that supposedly doesn't crack. If that doesn't work, I'll use your thing and let you know

Just a heads up guys: My mom's shoe repairman gave me this to use and it worked great!: It's been two days and still no cracks. It's very fast drying. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.
