Is it normal for the handgun to not have a spring inside? They usually do.

I was playing around with some 'movie accuracy be damned' posing. My daughter actually let me take some photos while there was some daylight:

The gun doesn't sit in the hand very well when the finger is on the trigger. It's alright though.

Head sculpt shots in natural light:

Great shots and I love the "movie accurate be damned" pose. I do this too. :hi5:

That looks great, congrats.

I'll only quote one pic but those are excellent. The face looks unquestionably Arnie.

About the pistol - yeah that tends to be a thing with Hot Toys figures. Either the hands are too big or the gun is too small.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Thanks guys. Looking at the pics, I think the pose is a little reminiscent of the search mode scene in the steel mill.

My mom stopped by today and saw my Arnies in the detolf. She commented that he must have been really young in those movies. I don't think she remembers taking me to T2, or anything about it for that matter.

What say you all? Is this sufficiently 'Mantis-like'?

I would say so and he really held that mini gun pretty high in that scene. :lol Nice job on the pose & your pictures. :wink1:

A-dev... I am most impressed with how you made the ammo belt look heavy...howja do that?

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I don't think that's the Hot Toys ammo belt.

BadMuthaDude....movie accuracy be damned...lol, great stuff.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Can you believe this guy is still in its box? I have some major room reorganizing to do before I let this guy out. BD version will probably ship out before that happens! Lol

Its the DX10 bandolier with these larger and heavier grenades in it.

you do feel the difference now, right? )

Most definitely. The more accurate one can get a pose the better to make a figure look like you took it out of the screen.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Great job there, Andrew.
Looks jist like right out of the scene.
actually it doesn't yet. a little more from "pose police" is left.
while Andrew worked on the tip about arms pose, he didn't notice the tip about legs pose.
)))

right leg is far beside left leg. left leg is bent. terminator keeps body balance while turning its upper half like a turret.

and a-dev, that left hand still can be turned more. check the photos )
yours still is side-turned. but its fingers can look straight down.
