Just picked mine up today and it's missing the plastic strips that hold the glass together. Guess I'm going to the parts department soon.

I found a quick fix. I had to loosen the nuts that hold the rods in place at the bottom. It's not enough that make the case unstable so it's good.
Sucks that you guys are getting duds.

Your guess is a good as mine, but it does. Although, it only works with two bolts not as tight as the other two. I also thought about getting some washers.

The Ikea in Covina, CA has tons of both colors in stock, they just came last week. I went and picked one up, set it up when I got home in less then an hour. No broken pieces.
Fast, simple, and affordable, plus they make my figures look damn good. I'll probably get enough to replace my bookshelves. Love 'em.

Hopefully they'll be hitting the north Jersey area stores soon!
My display room is getting overcrowded with boxes. I've got no shelves to display my goodies on! 
Just checked the Ikea site TODAY and the Detolfs aren't listed at all.

But since they're already in stock for you guys in California, that's a very good sign! Hopefully they make their way eastward soon!

Same here. They had tons of them. Theres no way they sold out that fast. I think their website is just messing up.

I went back and got them to open a box to grab them. Other then taking almost an hour everything was fine. I went back at noon the day after the got them in stock to get another and they were gone.
My ikea seems to be getting 12 to 16 every Friday and they are sold out by noon Saturday. Picked up 2 this Friday just incase I need one extra down the road.
