Production pics look great but I still cant get over those little sailors. I was really hoping they would have been made removable by now. Its not the horror aspect but rather the scale confusion it creates. Either she is that much bigger than a standard human or WTF? Anyone have plans in place to custom them off

Yep I agree, the scale is annoying. The sculptor has said she is supposed to be huge, so those guys on her tail are regular human size and she is like a giant, so she is totally out of scale with the rest of the court line up, she is more like 1:6 scale while the rest are 1:4.

that's my whole issue. If they are humans on her tail then she is out of scale with the rest of the court

If I were a sailor, I don't care how beautiful this siren was. I'd be like, "that's one huge b itch in the water." It would be like throwing a hotdog down a hallway...if you catch my drift.

I had always assumed that those were youths and not adults. How can this be justified as 1/4 scale of it truly is not? I don't really believe that she is"bigger" than a "normal"human because she would have a hard time enticing her prey if that were the case.

So she's like Ursula at the end of The Little Mermaid? :lol

I'm pretty sure "Premium Format" means 1/4 scale, period. So she's normal sized and went all Beetlejuice on some sailors and shrunk them down when she sucked their lifeforce or whatever.

From the sculptor Mark Newman -

Yes, She is supposed to be quite large proportionately compared to the average human. Probably around 10 feet tall if she had legs.

So there you have it, she's basically the size of Neytiri from Avatar, so this isn't a 1:4 scale statue, more 1:6.

She works great as a stand alone piece.

They just added some production photos today. It's not as pretty as the proto, but it's not horrible either.

Look forward to the pics, there's a lot riding on this one with regard to the COTD line, the Queen didn't exactly get this line off to a good start judging by the quality of the production piece.

Here are some photos (poor quality) official, not mine but of an Asian boy, it seems that the wait has been rewarded, very beautiful statue, which is the turning point for the entire line ?? I am very excited and look forward to my :yess:

The paint looks very sloppy in those pics, I'll reserve judgement until higher quality pics surface but those do have me concerned.
