Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

hey man looking great! This will be an awesome project, it's all you so you can take alot of pride in this once its done.
If I were you I'd work on softening and smoothing out the edges of the sculpt, also the nose is looking a tad flat, really make it look like it's a nose with cloth over it, kinda like the nose is making a tent for itself. Haha

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

yes the nose looks better, but a little lopsided it needs more sculpey on his left side on his nose and I would also raise the ears up just a tad.

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

hey man, no problem I am glad to help, I now id want someone to help me.
his left eye (our right) is bigger than his other, also maybe make the eyes just more round in general..
after those couple of tweaks take a while to smoothen the sculpt and eliminate the roughness.

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

I completely understand, without the eyes and tips from my friend Johnny (cheungkinmen) my latest sculpt wouldn't have been up to the standard that it is as of now. You'll keep getting better and better and after hearing people's tips and advice you'll be able to look out for those things on your own, with future projects. I'm glad I was of help to you man!

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

And I'm glad, that you are here and help me ;) I really appreciate it.

I tried repair eyes, but still I can't make them more rounded. Mainly when he has "goggles". And little modified head shape.

And from photos I see, that he has again one eyes little bigger than other...

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

Hi, I want ask you, if you someone have elastic resin or something good for casting hands to sell. I really need around 100g, so I really don't want buying 2kg+ bottles for $100 and more (czech sellers price)

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

Hey Elar,

Great work so far, I can appreciate someone taking the time to learn how to sculpt and to create a figure from scratch man. It's a different breed of customizer and certainly a different level than kitbashing something together to where 90% of the awesomeness is already created.

IMO, the thing that stands out to me the most is the profile of the headsculpt that you have going.

It maybe a bit too long horizontal ways, also in the up and down pan of the headsculpt maybe a bit to narrow but other than that you are off to a great start.

Hope that helps, just try to mimic the length of a extra TT head you have laying around and pronounce the jaw a little. That will be pretty important whenever it comes time to mounting it on the neck. Also circumference wise you want to make sure that there's enough material there for the TT to be inserted if it starts looking too narrow on the sides of the head while you are working on it.

Re: 1:6 Deadpool WIP (All by me)

nice job elar...just one observation..the head maybe a little elongated...unless thats the look you want...but its 1000% better than anything i could do...great job..:clap
