I'm a huge fan of the show. Seriously tempted to pick this up ...

According to the specs, it's 14" tall. So it's probably around 1/6 scale. Edition size of 500.

Looks great to me. But I'm not quite sure if I'm picking it up yet ...

Looks great. If it is around 1/6 scale, then it'll look amazing with some custom GoT's figures on there (or any future officially licensed stuff)

Hmmm ...

Yeah ... if it was really 1/6 scale, at 14 inches, that's only 7.5 feet tall (and that's including the base). The real throne looks to be at least 8 feet tall (not including the base).

So yeah ... I think 1/7 or 1/8 would be a great guess. Kind of a bummer.

But still, I think that's close enough that it will display nicely with some high-end, custom 1/6 figures, as long as you don't have anyone sitting on it.

I had thought it was about 1/6 when I ordered it, but you're right it's probably closer to 1/9-1/8 - still - it looks cooler than the paperweight throne that came with the special edition DVD.
