Anyone in business should get that tattooed on themselves - backwards so they can read it in the mirror. It's the truth.

My ex works for an airline and some of the crap she told me about I just shook my head at. She works in their call center and it is unbelievable what people will call in and complain about.

Last inquiry, is that face value only with no promotion codes etc added? The banner/hulk set was 350 with the HA11OW33N code before it was wait listed. I had that in mind at the time. not trying to be greedy I just honestly

Adding points or a discount to a prize item is not possible. The $$$ amount of your prize is based on the most current price of the item at the time of it being chosen.

I believe it, I worked for a natural foods store that had the most liberal return policy ever, once a customer tried to bring back the bones of a turkey after Thanksgiving saying he didn't like it and wanted his money back.

Greatly appreciate the info. I especially appreciate you guys going out of your way to hold giveaways and dole out codes/promotions. Truly hope what occurred today doesnt adversely affect that in the future. Thanks so very much for doing it.

That is entirely a possibility. The fake codes (fakegate) were of course started in good fun while people were passing time (totally understandable and was all innocently started). It's unfortunate that fun can turn sour though. Unfortunately, having our CS department flooded with folks inquiring about fake codes causes issues (even more so when there are other customers trying to get through with all sorts of other inquires but can't and so on). Fakegate wasn't malicious of course it's just unfortunate that good fun ended up having a very bad side effect that those just having fun didn't intend. As such, having our CS bogged down due to an unfortunate situation will cause us to evaluate the future. Should we offer these kinds of codes in the future or not? Is the potential problematic side effects (that even we didn't foresee possible) minimal enough to still offer this kind of incentive or is it too much of an issue? Nothing is decided yes or no right now of course, so reward point codes may still happen in the future. It's possible they won't either.

They have to get stupid questions all the time, that is just a hassle of dealing with the public. A few extra over the code issue should hopefully not ruin it. Take the codes away and you loose a lot of interest in the event. We appriciate all the little perks and the effort that goes into them.

I mainly was lurking for this spooktacular and like many other forum members have done, I would like to say thanks so very much to the people posting the winning code so others have a chance too get them.. And Alex i hope that the random codess can continue because i believe for alot of people they are such and awesome part of spooktacular, and also thanks so very much to SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES for having spooktacular and this year was very cool indeed

Agreed! Just finishing up my Halloween movies at the moment, pretty soon its time to start on the Christmas movies. But not before watching Planes, Trains & Automobiles for Thanksgiving!

The codes felt like a way for the freaks community to bond. Obviously, staying up all night for a $5 code is hardly worth it if all you want is the rp, but most of us here did it because we enjoyed the camaraderie of getting a code and sharing it with everyone here. That's what made it really worthwile and that's why it gets personal when others frown upon what happened in this thread. I hope the codes stay. It makes these events a little more special.
