Why does every show on CW use Melrose Place as a template? It doesn't matter if it's Vampires, superheroes, whatever. It takes just a few minutes of watching ANY show on the network and you know you're watching CW.

Why does every show on CW use Melrose Place as a template? It doesn't matter if it's Vampires, superheroes, whatever. It takes just a few minutes of watching ANY show on the network and you know you're watching CW.

Everything on CW has that same vibe, the "tween soap opera" feel.

I could never get into Flash or Arrow, and no doubt Supergirl will be exactly the same.

I can't believe I made it through 2 seasons of Arrow before I had to finally throw in the towel. I tried watching The Flash but immediately gave up after 1 episode. I don't think I'll ever watch anything on the CW ever again.

Every 10 minutes there is at least one instance that they have to go after their target audience, the 14 year old girl. A grown man can only take so much of this.

Ha ha! I thought it was just me. Everyone at work was telling me the Flash was a good show, and I was like "Is it like Smallville, and Arrow?" They were like No, no.. it's really good.

I watched 2 episodes, and the main plot is love sick young people.
