Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! Great start. :)

Re: Covert/ UnMarked Range Rover

This looks very interesting!!
Great work so far. Keep at it!
Based on your progress so far.. it should be so worth it.

Re: Covert/ UnMarked Range Rover

Thank You for the kind words SculptorJoel and Preshea.

Today has mainly been a dremelling day. Had to re-position the seats (as this was for SINDY UK version of Babrie) and ended up dremelling the second Range Rover.

So modded the seats to fit better for the Male figures to fit. Used a Vintage Action Man and a modern TTL19 type body.

Test fit in the vehicle with figures seated.

Re: Covert/ UnMarked Range Rover

Yea we need more 1/6 scale projects like this. I am always blown away by the effort the projects of this scope take.
Bashing and modding impressive figures are hard enough.

I'm surprised a company hasn't started to make unpainted car kits in 1/6 scale.

Re: Covert/ UnMarked Range Rover

Thanks Guys I am enjoying the work on these two Range Rovers.

Started a little more on the EXPLORER/ADVENTURE Range Rover today.

BullBar fitting.
zrrad.jpg

Ladder for the back and access to the roof Rack (once put on).

zrrad1.jpg
zrrad2.jpg

Got some plastic card replicating Metal foot plates.
So will be adding these on both doorway floors and another place or two.

zrrad4.jpg

Just to gauge it's rough appearance with ladder and bullbars in place.

zrrad3.jpg

As said will be putting a metal Cargo Rack on the roof, also fitting 4 LED spot lights to the front of the rack. Adding tools to the side as well as some personal touches to the interior before adding stowed kit.

Found an old Modern Action Man jeep Bull Bar bumper so switched the one on the Explorer vehicle for it and the removed Bull Bar now on the Covert vehicle

Also found Modern Action Man Jeep ladders, so waiting on a metal rack which i ordered for the roof rack to see which works best.

Side Ladders

Parts starting to arrive.

So metal rack arrived and LED spot lamps.

Fitted lamp to the front of the rack.

Test run of rack to the roof. Plenty of space to stow kit.
