I was up last night putting this glass case together for my CM Predator. I will be making another for CM T-800. After that, my friend and I will work on building 2 pedestals next week. I got cherry wood picked out for the pedestal. Dark cherry wood would be my ideal look.

That is very Sharpnel, but do you mind revealing how you do this? Seal/bond it with silicon? Just curious really.

I discourage using silicone because it leaves a cloudy residue in the corners. Similar to what you see with a fish tank. The adhesive that I'm using is called NANO470. Check it out. It cures in 10-15mins, clear, easy to clean and bond very very well. See it for yourself. :horror

I had 3 broken quills and did the following. Sharpen the base of the quill. Insert it to confim it fits right. Use a tiny bit of crazy glue at the tip of the base to glue it so it does not move or fall off easily.

That stuff is fantastic, gotta get me some of that!

I would like to see CM do the Independence day alien...thing would be huge! Plus I loved that movie...

Chris

i would like to see a scaled alien ship from ID4, or the small attack fighters from the movie , like the the ones that where made from star wars ( x-wing - millenium falcon, ext...)

One of these has been made available to me from Cinemaquette.com.

They'll be charging me next Friday for him. The dream is alive.

I ordered in the beginning of August and he said in September that I'd be getting one around this time.

Great piece, but for the price should have more accessories.

Ya know, it really doesn't need them.
If you had one you really wouldn't say that, it is the most amazing figure to see and own.

At least, that's my way of looking at it.
You may own one and still feel that way and if so, sorry :lol

It's just so damn big and awesome. The last thing I would have thought of was "God damn, this is s^^^ and needs more bits" :D
