Re: Chigger58's "Game Over Man" Gaming/Collectible Room.

Fantastic pictures as always bro !!! :hi5:

You really manage to capture the character of each figure you do a "spotlight" on. Love them :clap

Can't wait to see who you do next. Actually can I put a request in for the T-1000? Would love to see your take on him mate.

Thanks brother! :hi5:

I like the "spotlight" comment...sums it up.

Yes the T-1000 is probably going to be next. Either him or the T-600. :dunno That would finish up my movie case for the moment so it would make sense. However now that I've been getting better with my camera Leo might make a triumphant return. We'll see....

BTW Bob I got hooked up with an IM VI! Not sure I'm going to keep it but I don't want to pay a bunch later if I decide I do. Nice to get one for retail though! :yess:

Great work on the Pred pics! :clap

I especially like the high contrast ones:

So where's T-1000 :impatient:

LOL :rotfl

Will look forward to them when you get the chance my friend.

GREAT news on the Mark VI matey !!!!!! :hi5: He is a must have for me! Mark VI displayed (battle damaged) with War Machine and then Mark IV with tony head. It's a plan with no drawbacks, other than the wait...........

Thanks Maglor! Those were my two favorites as well. It's the gritty look of them that does it for me.

Thanks as always lord! :hi5:

The T-1000 is going to be a big project. There are so many accessories and poses you could come up with. :thud:

I look forward to getting to it though because I haven't spent much time with him since I've had him. He's due for a new pose!

I might start on him Sunday night but I've been itching to watch the special features on the Alien Quad Blu Ray. We'll see...

I like the VI, and I would be SCREWED if I had all the previous armors and would absolutely, without question, be keeping him for the collection then. Right now though, with only owning the IV, I'm still trying to make a decision.

Personally I think the V is superior in design and originality so I'm going to have to purchase that one before this one, if I decide to purchase and keep any past the IV. :slap Who knows? :lol

I did read that we will be waiting a bit longer for him due to the chest piece issue that they are fixing. Fine by me and this supports the way I purchase my figures. AE is great to work with even with the little amount of additional time you have to wait. At least that way I'm not paying extra for a figure that might have a flaw and then have to go through the return/ replacement jive.

My Batman's been oily free since I've owned him, well worth the additional wait! :lecture :wink1:

I had no idea anyone was still coming 'round these parts!

The thread is currently under construction...hope to have it done tonight! That will include a new section of the SPIRIT OF VENGENCE!

Thanks for checking in guys...it makes me want to continue!

HOLY MOTHER F! I made it, all pics are back up, all pesky red X's are gone! :panic: :hi5:

I've been drinking already, but to celebrate further let's kick it off with the following update!

Thank you for stopping by!

Badass!

Love the way his face is lit up in this one!

ANd is see you are using the "" code now. I think that was the problem with your other pics.[/quote]

Yes sir, that's exactly what the problem was. Weird that the HTML worked before :dunno.

What a pain in the a$$ it was to go back and recreate the thread. It was good overall though as it made me sort through pics on PBucket and downsize a bit.

Thank you for the compliment on the pic. That's my fave as well and that little extra bit of light on his face really helped.

I might either PM you about some photo questions or hit you up in your thread. Thinking about switching the way I take my pictures and with using a backdrop.

BTW, loved that smiley you used in your last post! :clap :lol

Damn Jason! Those GR pics are UNREAL! I really need to put more effort into my pics.... :(

So where are you going to display that monster?? Great figure, eh?

Which smiley?

[Edit] You meant the tumbleweed one? :lol

Yep, that's the one! You get so used to seeing the same smileys when I saw that I honestly laughed out loud. It was completely fitting!

BTW, thanks for the PM! I do need to learn more about the functionality of the board. Quick follow up though, do you get e-mail notifications every time a thread you're subscribed to updates? Maybe you can turn that feature off? :dunno

Thanks Flo, glad to see you stopped by again now that I got off my a$$ and fixed the thread! :hi5:

Everybody's pics on the board bring something to the table. I love stopping by your thread and I think it looks great man.

On page 1 I have an updated shot as of the 8th. You can see GR up in the top left corner on this old audio tower I've made into a display shelf. I think that's his resting place for now.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting either the Iron Monger, or the Burton Batmobile...or maybe both. :horror :panic: If I do that GR might get bumped for the Monger and that whole unit might just be Iron Man.

He is a great figure but an odd purchase for me. I think the only comics I've ever read that he was in were crossover issues with the X-men, I believe they took on the Brood. There is just something about the guy that kicks a$$. Maybe it's the whole chopper, flaming skull, fire thing...might start there when trying to figure it out. :wink1:

As we all know now though, even if you have the slightest interest in a figure you might as well purchase it for a preorder price and then decide once you get it. Much cheaper that way and that's really what I did with GR.

SPIDEY'S NEXT! COME ON AE! :impatient:

Spidey comes tomorrow for me! :rock

I'm not a huge fan of Ghost Rider the film, but I LOVED the comic as a kid (V2 Danny Ketch version). It's a super kick ass figure overall. Seeing your pics makes me want to go home and take GR out and play. :D Too bad the acting in the film was soooo poor because the scenes with GR are fantastic, IMO.

The collection looks fantastic, BTW!! I didn't know that you had a Mystique Com?? This is going to sound really weird but of all the scantily clad ladies that have been produced by SS over the years I find that one to be super hot!!

So which version was Blaze? Was that the reinvention of GR in the 90's?

Yeah the movie blows! I can't believe it's getting a sequel before a legitimate Punisher or Daredevil movie. Overall from what I've seen I don't care for the look of the sequel as much either. They got the look of GR and the bike right in the first, but that's about it.

Thanks for the compliment on the collection. It's been taking some hits over the last 6 months as I decided I'm sticking to pretty much ONLY HT's 1/6. I've sold some of the pieces I used to own mostly because of all the HT's announcements I'm planning on getting. They really need to stop with the announcements! :lol

SS has me intrigued though with the DC announcement. Always been a Marvel guy personally but a really nice PF of Batman and the Joker....tempting. I've been staying away from looking at that Joker PF since they announced it. Those 2 and a Panthro from PopCulture...those might push me over.

Mystique went the way of the sales, so did the Maul PF, Asajj PF (first SS piece I ever owned), IM Comiquette and a few others, mostly statues. I've kept the Conan PF though, that is until HT's gets around to that line and makes the Serpent Temple Assault version. :yess:

I agree with you about Mystique though so lets us freaks stick together! One sexy blue lady there! Out of all the pieces they've done I think she's the best one.
