BTW, thanks for taking those pics - I'll hopefully be able to share some pics of the Dewback 3D sculpt. It is just stunning and about 95+% complete now.

Yeah, I am getting down to the obscure background guys now. However there are still 5 or 6 guards from the skiffs I need to do. Brock Starsher, Yotts Oren, Galiad, Vedain and Pote Snitkin come to mind.

Its time to finish the skiff pilot Vedain. Just finished chest piece. Next up, find the proper color of pants. I also need to finish headgear and touch up paint on headsculpt.

I made some progress on Vedain's headgear over the weekend..




Next up I am going to add some brown ovals to the front and redo the metal ornaments and studs on the front. I also need to sort out his "horns".

Yes, it WAS a mix of fabrics. I ended up not being happy with it end. When I added the "horns", the headgear was way to big. The side wraps also didn't sit right. So I scrapped it and started over.




Here is the second go at it...





I may redo the metal centerpiece on the hat, but I am pretty happy with the rest of it. This headgear is lots of trial and error.
