Can a GI-Joe head fit on the Tru-Type?

Can a typical GI Joe head fit the tru-type? If not, whats the best body you can get that it will fit?

I guess you could say hasbro. I want to change my toys McCoy Indy over to a trutype.

Yep! I don't if it's been done already, but if you can do it on a DML body like this:

I think I'll give it a try. Do you just put the heads in hot water and pop em' off?

Ok, I bought a True Type. It should be here in a few days. I'll post with my results soon.

I got my true type yesterday and popped the Indy head and the True type head off, and to my surprise, it fit!

The only thing is that the head is a tad short, but it's not that noticible.
