This is the beginning of a new era.
This is the beginning of a new era.
What's the difference?
And anyway, this is pretty awesome don't you think?
Yes it's awesome.. the problem is, the conglomerate behind this prototype have a a reputation for announcing prototypes, and taking pre-orders, for very expensive, diecast figures.. yet the figure may never go into production.
On the occasions when figures have reached the market, they have frequently been a smaller scale than expected.. ie. 1/12 production figure, rather than the 1/6 or 1/4 prototypes, or the figure has suffered from QC problems.. eg. 'pink panties' straight out of the box and electical connection issues with their Avengers Iron Man Mk VII.
So, bearing all that in mind, what you have to ask yourself is: How likely is it, a massive figure like Hulkbuster, is actually going to make it into production, for a price that is anything like affordable ..and considering the complexity of the figures animatronics, what sort of QC can you expect?.. because potentially waiting 3 years for a figure that costs several thousand dollars, has 'pink panties' and with animatronics that don't work out of the box, is not very motivational.
Its a shame but imho, Comicave Studios need to work on improving PI's image in the marketplace.. rather than announcing prototypes that are even more extravagant, than PI's previous projects.
Yes I hear you but they could make a 1/6 Hulkbuster for a lesser price.
And I would love to see a 1/6 Mark 45 with a high percentage of diecast from them.
You heard but didn't listen I guess
I did but I tend to filter out the excessive negativity.

It pains me to say it but I'm leaning on catwoman's side, as it'd be nice to discuss what has been shown at the event instead of pages and pages of ripping a company. Motux buddy, you've made your opinion of Comicave/Pi/etc very clear in multiple threads to the point of beating a dead horse.
