Books on computer networking

Anyone in the IT field have any recommendations as far as which books are worth buying? It looks like books from either Todd Lammle or Wendell Odom are the preferred choice but, there's so many to choose from.. I have taken classes years ago and so a lot of this stuff will be a refresher for me. All this is anticipation of a possible career change in the near future and I'd like to be prepared for any classes / certs I may take when the time comes. I'm leaning towards the one linked below due to the simulators and what not, but I'd like to hear everyone's opinions first. Thanks

CompTIA is a great Computing/IT certification, as is the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) cerifications.

I have those 2 and the CompTIA A+ and N+ and Security+ certs, the security one I just got recently. You can read these books if you plan on getting any of those certifications.
