I just caught this on Ixfinity on demand for 6.99 tonight ... I thought it was a great film . Gibson still rocks .

Really a shame that the director was so lame.
Even if the story is pretty thin (but still solid) it could have been elevated with a more interesting director.
I just spent the movie staring at the magnificient Mel Gibson.
The man is pure charisma and is just a pleasure to watch act.
I ****ing hate Georges Miller for not having the balls and saying stupid crap like mel is too Old for Max.
Fury road is good but it would have become an immediate masterpiece with Mel.

Good flick. Gibson is still so entertaining to watch. Ending was predictable but didn't ruin it for me. Glad to see him back in the game.

I don't blame Miller though because I'm 100% it was the studio that made the call to recast. When Fury Road went into pre-pro Mel was still blackballed in the business. Sadly studios worry more about the GA's opinion on someone rather than the quality of the film they're making.
