When we talk about iconic cars, IMO, there's probably no car more iconic than K.I.T.T. from Knightrider. That car was more involved than any car on TV or Movies, a true sidekick! No one even makes mention of making that car, the dashboard itself is iconic.

I'm a HUGE Knight Rider fan. Even though I wasn't even alive when it ran live, I watched reruns in the late 80s and early 90s. A 1/6 KITT I'd absolutely have to commit to, as well as a Hoff to go with it.

I'm a HUGE Knight Rider fan. Even though I wasn't even alive when it ran live, I watched reruns in the late 80s and early 90s. A 1/6 KITT I'd absolutely have to commit to, as well as a Hoff to go with it.

I'd love a KITT with all the interior lighted with screens and buttons. That would be nostalgia overload

I tend to watch custom KITTs on Youtube, it's porn to me. There's even some Super Pursuit Mode customs out there too, even functional ports that open up.

It's always been a fantasy if I ever hit the lottery, to get a custom KITT done for me. Like it's number one on the list. My Wife's cousin has one. Lucky ****.

Hot Toys, Blitzway, Sideshow, etc are all sculptors, tailors, and painters first and foremost. Making a vehicle is an entirely different art form...this is why you do not see many Soho artists bouncing between putting their work in art galleries and then working on assembly lines in Detroit...just two different sets of skills...this may be why most of these companies struggle with getting these vehicles out...maybe sixth scale figure makers should avoid this all together and cede vehicle licenses to manufacturers with a more industrial background...I can appreciate that there is an appetite for vehicles but it seems completely outside of what these figure makers are set up to do. Personally I would prefer that Blitzway dedicate whatever resources it is committing to making an Ecto 1 to pursuing an exciting new license and making a new line of amazing 1/6 figures! Mattel's Hot Wheels division could start making really detailed 1/6 scale vehicles to fill this need.

KITT would be awesome and an instant purchase. The guy that had one at the last convention I went to wouldn't let anyone sit in it. Pretty big tease to have the car in front of you and only being able to look in from the outside.

Embarrassing story... I went to a car convention as a kid and there was a replica there and I was scared to get my picture taken with it I might of been 6 years old. Same day I go home and watch it on TV... retarded.

Oh yeah definitely, that was the common complaint in all the people that got one. It's a rectangle and slaps your crotch with every turn. Some guys swap it out when they're not a convention.

That's great! I was going to get the Diamond Select version, but eh I thought it wasn't all that great. I did want the SPM version a lot though.

EDIT: Christ, even the pedals have the green lights. That's insane.

Yeah a talking car was definitely different. I can't really think of any others.



Interesting interview with the Hoff. I like how he said he wanted to humanize KITT by calling him buddy and Pal, like he was his trusty horse and not a machine.

ECTO 1 is going to be a boat load. I'd be shocked it was under a grand. I'm more than content with just the four guys all posed like this:

Has BW made any comments of 1/6 GB2 figure. More particular the Slime Blower’s. My display game plan is to get PV only and wait for a Ray SB. I don’t think I need all four.

Yeah i agree if the Hot Toys Delorean and Batmobile were around the $800 mark expect Ecto 1 to be the same. I'm the opposite of most people in here in that i'm more looking forward to the car than the figures to be honest. Anyone can do the figures not anyone can make the car however. That's more than likely why its taking them so long. Maybe they bit off more than they could chew. Who knows?

Yeah, it's the car. Many of us already had a set of custom GBs. In fact there were a few different versions floating around. But the car is unique. And on the shelf it's going to make the viewer go "WOW". I really cant wait until the reveal. Guessing $850.

ECTO-1 with the 3 pack or the 4 pack combined is going to be near $2000, if not more (depending on how much the car is). That's A LOT of money to put down into one display.

I have the 3 pack on PO with BBTS, as my favorite segment in the film is the Sedgwick Hotel Slimer bust. I'm perfectly content with posing each figure based on iconic scenes from that segment: Venkman holding the walkie talkie when he first saw Slimer, Spengler with the PKE and the gun hooked to his belt and Stantz with his gun drawn and wearing the goggles, with Slimer in the middle of them.

If i get the Ecto-1 i will need to destroy the box or save at brothers garage the box will be a Fridge size closet eater like the 89 ride. I will have to get having my delorean and 89 will be a amazing display next to the Ecto- 1. There's something about 1/6 rides you cant have just one.
