I'm curious to know if this has been successful for Blitzway. It seems like it has. It'll be good if they are willing to invest in more vehicles in the future, especially since HT seem to have abandoned them.

You definitely want it. But do you have the space? And will you feel good about dropping upwards of 2k on a huge piece with some pretty big faults?

For me the answer is still yes, I'm glad I bought it. But I needed it to go along with the figures and the Delorean. Knowing it existed and I didn't have it would have driven me crazy.

I pass through the same train of tough. I decided to buy it because I love ghostbusters and I will alway regret if i let it pass... But i have to invest (space and money) on a nice place to exhibit it, so it was not just the price of the car...

Same with me. Ghostbusters is one of my all time favorite films and if i passed on this i would been very upset with myself.

Mine arrived......on a pallet haha.

Haven't unboxed it yet and it's sat in my spare room until I get a display sorted.

Done the offset lights mod. Easy to do and in fact it looks so much better live and on pictures

use it as some sort of makeshift coffee table. that is what normally do with really big boxes i don't want to throw away. too bad you can't use it as storage box without throwing out the Styrofoams.

I'm waiting on a cabinet to be built for mine, it will be built into the wall, the glass on the front is black smart glass and the inside of the case is dark so hopefully, it looks to be just black glass, then you switch on the lights inside and the flashing lights and turn the glass on and it goes clear.
Should have been done but the cabinet builder has delayed with the coronavirus lockdown, so Ecto 1 is still in its box here, still not opened it.

do you need to bang a hole on the existing wall? is there any reinforcement required on the 4 sides? will it be viewable from both sides of the wall? always wanted a cabinet inside walls as it saves space and you only need to worry about dust coming from the front but carving up an existing wall is too much unless it's just a partition wall. i worry about the integrity of the wall when being carved up.

This is a great display, I'll have to think of doing something like this too. How did you manage to offset the lights?

Quick mod N?2. Want to add the missing cables without destroying the car... So...
Made a square plastic sheet, with some neodymium magnets. Also do some cables with attached magnets too (maybe you can find some more accurate wires... I made this with what I have)
Then just attach them to the position.
More accurate now
