To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Black Laborary Series, Black 13 Park (B13) is re-visiting the deer head, with state-of-the-art techniques, experience accumulated over the years, and as always pure love for making the perfect toy.

Highlights:

  • Multiple highly detailed animal and human head sculptures
  • Intricate steampunk design and meticulous paintwork
  • New "loss of bones" container
  • Modular weapons

* Customers who ordered B13's previous release - the "Fujita-Kun & You Ko" set will also receive a bonus "hidden" head sculpture set.

The hidden head set contains
  • A comical head sculpture (inspired by the New York Brooklyn Coney Island Steeplechase Park face)
  • A dissected head part
  • A bust
  • A wooden base
  • A wooden box
  • A special "prize" card, which is said to have secret connection with future releases

Where do you order these?
Do you have a link?
I don’t even know what this figure is about, but that is a work of art.

You can try clicking our signature:)

If you are not familiar with the brand, you may get sticker shock the first time. But it is the going rate for B13's product, because they are highly limited, uniquely designed and handcrafted work of art as you said. It's not uncommon for the price to go much higher over time in the secondary market.

Thank you very much. I do remember seeing previous figures, and I'm always blown away by the details.
Thank you for the info.

the favourite are the space cat and diver. the details & accessories are amazing. this one seems lacking on accessories.

True, but this figure is also about $80-$100 more affordable than the diver.

Note that this is an anniversary special, not a normal release in the series, so it doesn't come with the full fledged accessories. They said that all future figures will not use the same animal. They are re-visiting the deer head simply to show how far they've come since the first deer was introduced, which was a significant milestone in their history.

This guy looks a lot like Toys City SYNTHETISCHES MENSCHLICHES #2 MEI XUEBENG

Just new antlers and obviously all the weird extra heads and skulls and stuff.

I have all but the eagle of the above line and they are really cool and way more affordable.

love the art.
almost reminiscent to junji ito's style. like dissection girl. :]

Being a Junji Ito fan myself, I feel exactly the same.

The guy behind B13 - John, used to work in Japan, and like many of us, grew up with the Japanese manga and anime, therefore you can tell his works are heavily influenced by the Japanese pop culture (most evidently with the Shark Brothers, and the Fujita Kun & You Ko set), especially the over-the-top weirdness.

And he surely likes to dissect stuff. :lol
