So Hot Toys release the Godfather figure in 2009/2010--and that Tuxedo looks good. WTF is wrong with BCS and this release? This should be WAY better tailored for the price they ask...just saying.

Is Stromberg really so great? Great movie, sure, but I always attributed that to XXX and Jaws. Stromberg is the typical scenery-chewing forgettable bad guy we saw far too often in the Moore-Dalton-Brosnan eras.

Largo, definitely. Jaws, Blofeld (of several varieties), Red Grant (a bit boring to look at, but a great character), 006, Xenia, Dr. No, Scaramanga...it's a decent list, there. Jaws being the one I really want!

Nah, I don't consider Stromberg much of a villain, He let his sharks do all his dirty business. Best bad guys in the series have been, Goldfinger, Blofeld (Pleasence) Scaramanga and Max Zorin. IMO
Mr Wint & Mr Kidd, are kind of really memorable as well. Especially in the last scene from DAF

Yeah, I know -- I like him because he checks off all my boxes: personal deformity the suits the environment; great henchman, great base, great sexpot, cools toys, fun superplot -- he's truly the last of the old fashioned classic Bond villains -- by last I mean, good actor, great voice, the gravitas to be believable.

I'm a sucker for his "Goodbye Mr. Bund" accent.

Drax had a great name but sucked. The rest of the villains after that kind of take a different track.

Zorin was fun because of Walken's kookiness and his relish of the role. Wish more actors played it that way.

I think the Baron looks pretty cool, especially with the expressive head sculpt.
I’d say if you’re going for two, might as well go all out and get the third.
I’m still waiting to hear that my account is sorted. I used my PayPal to get a movie poster from eBay the other night, so I know there’s no issue on that side.
With the ‘deal’ open till March, there’s no immediate hurry to drip the £500.00

I like what they've done with the LALD line, just not into it. Betcha the Moore single eventually sells out. As far as the DN Connery, THAT body is killing it, like it detracted so much with the GF. Shoulders (width, gap) are a fail, but the sculpt is again, very good.

There's definitely Bond movies that have less appeal when you're talking about a price point of $250.

For Greggo, I'm going to post the Bond movies I consider worth that point:

Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger**
Thunderball
You Only Live Twice
The Spy Who Loved Me
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Skyfall

Honorable mention - (because I like the villains):

Man With The Golden Gun
A View To A Kill

Picked the cherry I believe: Oddjob
Really really nice figure, luckily no nose rub.

After reading this thread I fear this line is a succes and possibly end sooner than expected.

But looking out for Jaws and Nick Nack big time.

I thought Baron Samedi was a strange choice, seeing as he is not the main villain. I would have preferred Kanaga (with 2 heads, normal and "Mr Big"). It also meant you could kitbash Parker from Alien.

Getting my Bond tomorrow here in Spain. The retailer says there are no paint rub issueswith the nose . We´ll see....................

So, I know I asked this before, but I think it got lost amongst the discussion...is Sideshow not carrying the LALD wave? Does anyone know? Seems a bit odd BBTS got their preorder up first, right? Just wanted to make sure before I put in my PO with them instead.
