Lots of people seem to hate that scene and think it looks stupid. I personally really like it. There's something creepy about it.

Hence, the director's cut of Alien still didn't bring it all back. Personally, I think it'd be nice to see all of this footage restored into the film.

Not sure what to make of the crabwalk - I can't decide whether I think its creepy, comical or cute - all very different reactions. Its probably best they cut it out. Besides the scene as it is is fantastic.

The word 'creepy' though - that creepiness is something all the subsequent aliens lost somehow - particularly the CGI ones. I think the actor in the suit deserves (or possibly 'deserved'?) a lot of credit for that. His movements were truly Alien.

Totally agree. As much as i loved aliens and even liked alien 3, the creepiness from Alien was totally missing in all the sequels. Thats why i think its miles better than the others. All just my opinion though of course.

I acutally like the crab walk scene, the part where it stands up is really scary IMO.

Yeah, it actually goes up for auction next month. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for.
