I've wanted a good Millenium Falcon display piece for a very long time unfortunately the only things I could find that I really like are either super high end code 3 quality pieces or really inexpensive toys that cost under $10. I know there are a lot of models available but I'm really not that much of a modeler nor do I have the time for a complete build. But when I saw a review of the snap tite Millenium Falcon with LED lights and sounds it looks so good I had to pick it up and give it a shot. What I didn't expect was that the entire snaptite line from revel are actually extremely high quality toys in disguise. All the pieces just snap together and instead of using the fragile thin lightweight model plastic they actually use the plastics more or less found in high quality toys. I bought all 4 that were available both x-wing fighters the first order Tie fighter and of course the Millenium Falcon. For $20 these are an absolute bonafide stellar jaw-dropping steel. The quality of the Falcon is probably better than the upcoming Revoltech probably better then hotwheels upcoming elite diecast and is much better than the Disney elite diecast. And this piece cost a fraction of what some of those pieces will cost. I gave it a quick blackwash just to bring out the insane sculpting detail and I am simply blown away with how beautiful it looks. I hope they make many many more pieces like this and I will grab everyone.

Re: Best $20 ever.... Millenium Falcon

Looks great. I was eyeing this on Amazon last week and wanted to grab it. But hesitated. The wash really brings out the details. And the LED is a cool addition. Buying this. Nice pics!

Neat but scale looks too small.

Look hasbro......You CAN make a tie fighter or x wing withOUT warped wings and guns...

:lol:lol:lol

I bought both Hasbro vehicles and mine were perfect. :dunno

Those do look really good in every picture I have seen though.

Cool! I just snagged one. I love the black wash too. Makes it look a lot more high end.

Wow. The black wash and LEDs really kick this up a notch. Fantastic work! I may have to pick one of these up sooner than later.

This kit really is $20 well spent. As I prepare to tackle the Bandai Falcon, the Revell kit is awesome for testing washes and pastels on:

Hobby Lobby has level 2 kits, slightly bigger. They have a 40% off one item on their site I used so it was about $20. I black washed it and then hit it with some metallic for weather.
