Getting a custom case made, what dimensions would you guys suggest? I might put my Returns Bats in with it.

Any suggestions for lighting as well?

When I got mine made I just used the dimensions of the box. Wasn't tall enough to stand Batman next to it, so I would go a coupke inches higher in the height.

I know there are a couple of people here that have a case made, going by the pics I've seen. I would like to have one made too. What are the demensions to be able to fit 89 Batman in along side the car. Thanks guys!

I would measure it out myself but I'm unable to, I'll try to figure it out.

it'll most likely be 15 inches high, around 20" deep, width is what I'm having a hard time deciding.

Thanks for your response JonD7. I'm going to try to measure out some possibilities too and see what I come up with. I think you're probably right on your estimates though.

My case is
44 inches in length
16 inches in height
20 inches depth or width
It's perfect size in my opinion

It's from sora, great company that will make anything for u, I got a mirrored backing and deep gloss black base plate

That's a wonderful case Creasy! Love everything about it. Is it glass or acrylic? How much did you pay for that? Also, do you have a link to that company?

Cheers guys
It's from sora-shop.com
German specialist custom display case makers, they can make whatever you like.
Mines acrylic, it cost me £240 but that includes the customs bill as I'm in the uk.
I shopped around for a long time before finding them & it really makes the batmobile stand out-my photos don't do it justice.
Just send them an email of exactly what you want and they'll send you a quote in a couple of days [emoji106]

Awesome! Thanks a lot. I'm in the US, so shipping may be a big issue though. I'll look into it.

ebro42 have you tried Cases For Collectibles? it would be cheaper than the Sora Shop.

https://www.casesforcollectibles.com/calbox.html

They're charging me around $148 just for shipping but I'm in California so it may be cheaper for you.

I would also suggest calling your local glass shops, this guy learned of my situation and is offering to build me a case but only charging for the cost of materials, hopefully it works out. :)

Thanks JonD7, I'll check out your link. The shipping from Germany would kill me. I really appreciate Creasy looking out for me though. I'm in Arizona so I will check here locally as well and see what I come up with. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks so much for everyone's help.

Sora Shop won't ship to the US. Too expensive and the chance of damage too great is what they told me.

They're charging $360 for materials, ugh... the guy doing it for me says Acrylic scratches easily so he would suggest Lexan, he says it will last longer.

So I've been reading about Acrylic vs Lexan all morning, pros and cons to both, I'm frustrated as hell already..

Have you decided which one you'd go with?
