Now that I know it's a crack, the high res picture does look like it's a crack instead of a nail. It looks to go into the bridge of the nose, but it's the skincolour reflecting on the glossy black frame.

Blew it up and fudged with the contrast. You can completely see the arc for the bridge in the glasses both top and bottom, as well as the nail (and the shadow from said nail/pin/whaeveryawannacallit):
