I'll give an artbook recommendation of my own too: The Art of Top Cow

A commissioned piece at $1,200 sounds like a bargain compared to that. Which I'm hoping to have him do in the future.

Hey guys I just wanted to know if any of you are familiar with Chris Stevens. Well anyways, I've been eyeballing some of his work over on the statueforums and decided to contact him for a commission for me.

I asked him if he could do something close to the cover of Blackest Night #2 with the GL as the main character and with a couple of the Black Lantern's hands reaching around him. He said he couldn't do an exact replication of the cover, but could do something very similar to it.

That looks awesome man! I so wish I had the money to get a commission done for me by someone like Adam Hughes or J Scott Campbell, but it's something that'll probably never happen. Be sure to update us when you get your commission from him.
