Neither of us like the cleaning part though, so we eat out & order in a LOT.

I just made a badass sandwich!! It includes,
8 hard boiled eges
mayo
hony mustard
spicy brown mustard
clams
crab
tuna
dill pickle
red pepper, and chipotle chile pepper.
and mayo to taste, mustards to taste as well. What is your favorite dish?

This sammich would DESTROY me by the way.

That explains why we haven't seen as much of you around here lately.

Things were easier when I was in school and could sit on the couch with my laptop and a baby drooling in the crib. Now full time work and three kids in school and gymnastics and karate doesn't leave me as much time for internetting.

I've been baking a lot lately. I have become the dessert provider in the house over the holidays. I just made two cheesecakes, a pecan pie, grasshopper pie, and a jelly roll torte. Cookies are up tomorrow.

Really hoping that's not made out of real grasshoppers........

After watching an episode of Man v. Food I decided to make a horseshoe sandwich, which I had never heard of.

It's hamburger patties on Texas toast, topped with fries and smothered with cheese sauce.

Tomorrow morning I'm making gingerbread pancakes.

Thursday afternoon I'm making sugar cookies drizzled with melted candy cane Hershey's Kisses- topped with a candy cane Kiss- and eggnog cookies.

I very much enjoy cooking. But you won't find me doing the girly meals like grilled lemon pepper chicken breast and brown rice.


I get down to it. It's fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn with rolls or muffins and chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting for desert.

Or a potroast with potatoes and carrots in the slow-cooker. Give me the solid meals any day.
