Got the full review and galla for Iron Factory's IF EX20R Tyrant's Wings (Red) up: https://kumastyledesigns.com/iron-factory-ex20r-review/

This thing is just sick. I love the articulation and the accessories work so well. First time I've really found myself actually using everything in the box on one of these pretty frequently. Here are some pics from the gallery:

Nothing Takara ever does again will top this. How the hell did they manage to hide away the entire beast mode like this!? Witchcraft! Sorcery! Black magic most foul!

Someone even did a digital coloring job that was, initially, a bit disappointing with how much of the leg is exposed in the flank, but then I realised that no, the shape does not match, and that this area too will be dino skin. Just. HOW

Words can't express how hyped I am, I've been waiting over 20 years for a CG-accurate Dinobot and I hope they'll make every character from at least Season 1 of the show.

I can't fault both figures, they're about as show accurate as you could imagine. I guess my only nitpick is that they're nowhere near as big as their 1995/96 toy line. :lol

Well hopefully they got Dinobot's height right as he was the tallest of the crew I believe.

so dx9's omega supreme knocked the wind out of fans toys sails... or i'm assuming anyways as they just released the price for their omega supreme at $279.99!

Can't wait I am just hoping now that weijiang releases oversized versions of all BW mps. For one, I prefer the larger scale like their mpp10 and secondly, I just can't afford the pricetag on these figures at the moment. Weijiang at least makes these things affordable.

so the war started up on price on the omegas yesterday w/ fans toys price cutting theirs down to about $340 now! lol :lol
gotta love competition. which is great for the guys wanting the fans toys version. i'm sticking w/ the dx9... like the look and the price much better.

I find the DX9 looks more toon accurate, proportions are better as well IMO.

All things transformers!!!!

That is great news. Competition is healthy. For awhile I have been looking at 3rd parties. Takara has been stepping up to the plate and delivering great execution. Can't wait to get my MP-36 Megatron today. [emoji847]

there were supposed to be a couple companies working on it... one is rumored to be doing a silvery version.

That Gabriel is looking beautiful based on those renders, way better than FT's option. Curious to see how they both turn out!

Do my eyes deceive me or are the exterior car parts of MPM-3 Bumblebee just bare yellow plastic instead of painted? Have we ever seen a "test shot" leave the factory before without body paint applied? (circled-in-red parts in this image indicate die cast for anyone wondering):

Doesn't feel nearly as "masterpiece" in nature as the Takara-Tomy prototype images, where his yellow parts looked virtually identical to the car used in the 2007 film in terms of color and finish.

I'm still not certain, nor is it entirely clear, if Takara-Tomy's versions of these figures will be identical to or better than the Hasbro versions; if Takara's are identical, it'll be the first time a Masterpiece release has shipped with less paint apps than what is featured on the packaging it comes in. The new "test shot" photo of MPM-4 Optimus Prime is also missing paint applications compared to his box art.
